Carole’s Ten on Tuesday prompt invited us to share our reading list. It actually inspired me to gather my to-read books into a special stack, a disciplined reminder.
- Comédies et Proverbes , Comtesse de Ségur. Elementary, but it is in French and I find it amusing
- Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury. A promise to re-read this classic
- Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life, Barbara Kingsolver
- The Golden Apples , Eudora Welty
- Suite Française , Irène Némirovsky. This book was also boxed up for more than two years
- Rebecca, Daphne du Maurier . Classic gothic novel. I picked this up at my local used book store, also in French
- Mad Girl’s Love Song, Andrew Wilson. Sylvia Plath intrigues me
- Ariel, Sylvia Plath
- Alias Grace, Margaret Atwood
- The Journal of Hélène Berr, Hélène Berr. Journal of a young Jewish woman living in occupied Paris in 1942
BONUS!! Currently reading: 1Q84, The Complete Trilogy, Haruki Murakami
